I'm pickin up a 86 Cherokee Laredo 2dr 2.5 5spd ...Motor is screwed but complete.. Purchased the complete truck.. If you need parts...ask?  ?rather have it here than going for scrap...spare parts we do need!!! Not sure what gears are in it yet? ? Bushy and I will be pickin it up tomorrow.... Ownership and Vin Tag...Yes... |

What kind of shape is it in? I may be interested in the whole thing if possible. I'd love to replace my dad's VERY worn 86 for him for Christmas...

Put a 10" lift, 2 foot body lift and some 59's under it! LOL Maybe a 502 or a 572! LOL

lol... Well that one looks almost identical to my dad's except the body on his is in far worse condition... and his has a 2.8 with over 400k km... carb is f'd in it... everything... And to let you know, if it has a 2.5 it's likely got 4:10 or 4:56 gears in it, as with every other 4 cyl  |

After that its first come...
I just had the truck started and the motor is hammering (bottom end) but runs..like a Jeep!!! it just keeps running..lol
So everything is working...it fired good....alt/starter/fuel pump/electrical/carb..etc/rads fair/windshields good/wiper/rear hatch..exhaust is fair...tires good 215/75/15..4x4 works...

Bad: make a list and check it twice..see if you've been naughty or BAD...check everything what you need..the seats aren't the greatest..but there grey..$$$$$will talk as always...
I'm going out to pull the front diff cover to see 410s for sure..I'll be here..

Also Coltrane I think if your where to get the hole thing it would probably be easier to put the axles under yours and put in transfer case than to change the motors out as your 4 banger is F.I and that XJ motor is carb(just my .000002 cents...take it for what it's worth)

Hey I resemble that remark dude.I have only bought 5 jeeps this year.......And Low is right would be totally easier to put in front diff,trans and t-case.You could probably do it all in a weekend if you had everything.And that is if you run into problems.Not really hard to do.My 2 dollars worth as well.
