OK so you have a 88 YJ...not a CJ... and you have a set of 34's you wish to put under you already have a 2" B/L I take it and you just got a Rough Country add a leaf you said(how many inches of lift is that I'd think you if got a 2" shackle lift you should be able to clear 33's...34's is touch and go...how wide are the tires and what back spacing is the rims?

I have 2" aluminum wheel spacers on my FJ40. Actually the best lift for a Jeep is dynamite.

Uh... 4" body lift on a jeep? Well, get ready to extend brake lines as well if they aren't already! If not, you'll need longer flex lines to start. LOL Not sure about the steering shaft on that one! Pete? You got this one?
If you go Spring over axle, or axle under as you're saying, you gain 5 1/4-5 1/2" with stock springs! With lift springs, it's gonna put you up there! Then you are going to have to do a T-case drop of a minimum of 1"1/4. I have a 2 1/4" drop in mine! You'll need to extend your drive shaft with lift springs and SOA! Drop drag link if you don't wanna drive as straight as me and the old Thumper! LMAO As for wheel spacers, a 1 1/2-2" should be sufficient enough! After all, it is just a YJ! LMAO
I have SOA and those 4" lift springs from Bad, and my 33's look tiny on the jeep! lmao Guess I gotta go bigger now! LOL
