LoL i cant really talk, none of my beaters are on the road, and at heart i don't even have the one i want, a chev,yuck no good for low speed offroad but if "hammered down" like my ford can plow through just about anything.

XJ's after 96 are nothing compared to to a 87-95 XJ
That was your mistake. A 98 can't be lifted as much without a SYE, and of course you need to lift it more to fit 31's because of the"new" rounded body style, and color matched fender flares.
I had 31's on my XJ with 3" lift in the front, and 1.5" lift in the rear.
XJ's should have came stock with a 3" lift and at least 30's off the lot.

I agree, but Hell they release a bad ass Rock Crawler and even name it a Rubicon and seriously, it is not bad ass nor a rock crawler stock. Well unless you are a Jeep Kings member and you wheel the Walmart lot HAHAHA!

Bushy.
I have no "Jeep vs Toyota" bashing. I've seen a lot of Toyotas go in a lot of places nobody would think about going. I just personally haven't seen anything good come from a 4runner. I know the mods you have on yours, and maybe when I see you wheel it you can change that. I know the FJ would be a MONSTER.
And for the record, my XJ is not lifted and has 31's on it.

I'm positive i could prove a point without wollowing in da goo did i mention mud sucks ;D .... I've run that trail a few times and wont ever run it again.. aint f/a in there that intrests me..... I'll come out if ya's go but i'll stick to the powerlines and aviod as much goo as possible (did i mention mud sucks) ;D this climb is within 2 minutes of where you would unload yer rig  |

I'll do Hell's agian...it a great trail....even with all the shit from last time...but the only way I'll do any run like that is if it's in a group of 6 max(maybe with that run you could have 2 groups...and have them start at either end)...also it will be noted that I won't do that run with anyone that is running less than 33's....I don't care call me whatever you want...but your rig's gotta be build to take that trail....6-8 hours or HELL to do the whole thing(and that's without problems )....if problems occur...overnight is possible Also...ummm.....WTF does STFU mean...Monkey confused ;D |

I will translate Shut the FAWK UP! I think I will make it through that trail with my set up Low, so I am in for that! Long I would love to see that spot in the pic, that would be a challenge with the leaf springs in mine for sure!
