Ok here's the dilly, need front leafsprings for a 88 F250, asked part source & they had some but they were 4" & 6" lift, don't think that is what i need right now, just want stock, any suggestions, had someone refere me to a shop that would make them up, any ideas how much i'm lookn to pay for a stock set.

Not sure on cost but Cannifton leaf and spring could probably set you up. If they are not broken, they can re-arch too. I am not sure how long it lasts though. Or the wreckers. Got o Tafts they had a few Ford 4x4's there last time I was there. Good luck!

Thanks ibgpin, the only thing is the truck is 600mi away, i didnt know they could rearch those, and its got some kind of bodylift so i'm hoping a new set would fix the arch on the two front tires cause the leafs are straight or slightly curved down, wonder if i could basturd pack them somehow, or thats allowed for a safety.

go to hillcrest they have a late 80's f-250 near the back a lot, most of the front end is picked apart (i got the shock towers) but the springs are still there

Thanks fiero dude, its just I live in Brantford & the trucks way up north, & don't think i'll be down that way very soon, but do you remember if they were arched up, mine are pretty much straight so i thing there fawked but dont know what a good set looks like.

Call the local wreckers, they are always around. They should be between $50 and a hundred each depending on the place.

okay little freshness here, put new windshield, steering box, floor passenger & driver, shock bushings, fixed falling rear bumper, patched holes rear fenders rockers etc etc, primed, need half paint job, welded hooks rear & one front, goin back up north third week June to finish & hopefully drive it back if goes well saved bundle of cash as everything was salvaged, use shell of hotwater tank for floor, sm dia pipe for bushings alot of bondo & shit, new winshield 300 bones but that caused me to cheap out on the rest will post some pics later, so i am still under budget may look at 12000superwinch soon as its here.
