my nissan comes with a useless 2 piece shaft with a carrier bearing anyone know of a shop that can build me a 1 piece for a decent price?

Watch your angles, there is generally a reason for that carrier being there.

That is OK then, Any driveline shop should be able to fab one up, but you might try a Nissan Forum and see if there is one people are already using from another truck if it is a common swap.

I have made a few driveshafts at work, but never one for a nissan, can't see it being much harder you would have to give me some specs and i'll see if i can locate material

most driveline shops want anywhere from 3-500 bucks for one and thats if they will even do it they give me the same deal if it has a carrier bearing it's meant to be there lol nissan guys tell me i could use one out of a 01+ frontier but i dont have the same rear end so i would have to change the yoke on the back.
and grim jeaper its fairly easy cut the rear yoke off mine aswell as the slip yoke and weld them on a new shaft im tempted to try it but have a funny feeling it would end up feeling like im driving on square wheels lol

There's a place just outside Belleville that does them. Good prices too. Hey Bad, what's the name of that place again?
