I don't know if this is a help but there is a machine shop in Peterborough called Goodwin Metals. I know from experience that they are the only place left around here that will balance a drive-shaft AND if you can bring the truck to them, the guy can measure up and see exactly what you need and custom make it for you....assuming that your toyota already has the original shaft in it he could just measure those joints and make you a shaft from scratch rather than hackin' one. The one he made me was pretty expensive though, but that's cuz it was pretty custom too. I put an SYE kit in my Cherokee so he built me a shaft that had a CV joint in it at the top rather than a regular U-Joint to bolt to my transfer case and we put a slip yoke in the shaft itself...the $500 got me the shaft, a new U-joint for the bottom and it was balanced perfect and painted all pretty, no probs so far and it's been put to the test.

Well if you feel like Running down here that are a couple in my Garage, I think I have two complete sets left in there and I would want to keep one set as spares but the other is thre if you need them.
