Great, now i'm not only trying to figure out this wiring problem, I'm also scratchin' my head tryin' to figure out who the 'f' Got Mud is....lol. My cousin eh? Well I noticed he's from the county, but that really don't narrow it down too much, everybody in the county is my cousin....lmfao...Who is it? Can't say I recognize the green jeep.

Problem Solved....figured I'd better tell everybody what it actually was, I actually feel kinda stupid for not checkin' this out sooner.
So any 4.0 L with any amount of mileage, especially after havin' me drive it, has massive blow-by, they're known for it. They're also known for that stupid breather tube that runs from the valve cover to the airbox which more less just dumps oil into your air filter. I've heard of alot of ppl disconnecting the tube and running it down to the frame, but i've had my Jeep for 8 years and never bothered with it, I would just change my air filter when it was really bad and it was never a problem. But then one day I decided to put in a K&N filter. So the extra air flow and extra blow by oil dumping into the filter caused it to start carrying it's way into my throttle body, where it heated up and turned into carbon, gummin' the 'f' out of the throttle plate. I pulled it all apart, cleaned it all up with combustion chamber cleaner, including my breather box, blew all the excess oil out of the filter, and re-routed the tube down into a frame rail. Poof, she's runnin' just like a lifter tickin', oil leakin', 4.0 L should and I feel like a retard for not checkin' that out when I did the IAC....lol
Now I just have to remember to plug the tube back in before I take it for an emissions test.
Thanks for your help everybody

Shit...I've got half that stuff disconnected on the Waggy and it still flew through E-test like a champ(now mind you I went to AppleAuto Glass(or whatever there calling themselves now) and if you have 33's or bigger they don't put you on the dyno..they do a two speed idle..just like a all-wheel drive )

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Sometimes it's that obvious stuff that's hardest to find.

I wanna try to get the XJ past emissions with the 2spd idle test. Would it work if I just stuck it in 4x4 and left a note saying that it is jammed in 4x4? I remember that they cant shift it because liability is on them.

The guys at apple must not have looked where that breather tube was runnin' Lowrad because if they did it's an automatic fail. If you have the tube disconnected then you are pumping oil and emmisions straight into the atmosphere...it's basicallys the same as having an exhaust leak or no gas cap.... Hope i'm that lucky, i think i have to do one in a month or so....I'll be doin' mine where I work though ....lol

Shit...they never poped my hood...just stuck the fan in front...O and I have the electic fan hooked to a toggle..SO Waggy ran redline hot when I brought it in...not over heating..just really hot..that helps too ....still passed with pretty damn good numbers considering the beating it gets and the fact it's got 300 and change on the clock

yeah, the 4x4-lever trick WILL work. Federal Law says if they are Test Only, they cant switch it outta 4x4.
wooh!

Have it tested at Cormiers in Trenton....then I can check out your rig while it's on the dyno...
