>:(i picked up a bike86cr250, but the power band is on and off, sometime wrk sometimes nowork, the guy i got it from nows them pretty well, says the exhaust valves on the sides may have carboned up or broken spring? any suggestions appreciated thx.

Does it make a tapping sound? If not, that's prolly what is is, if it does, you have a rebuild. Possibly bent pushrods, or rockers. Not seating properly.

yeah 2 bang blower, never noticed clicking, but very likely something was terribly wrong went like snot, but not consistant, heavy bogging, then power, not when u hit certain rpm,s just all over like something sticking, then bang power, bog good power bog then no power power, let go hit again and no power what the, but i should check the click, never noticed though.
