Hey y'all! I'm pretty new to Jeeps and heard bout this site through some friends. Thought I would introduce myself real quick... I picked up an 01 TJ bout a month ago. I though bout keepin my car for a while, but now couldn't imagine driving anything but the Jeep. I haven't had the chance to do much wheelin at this point, due to the fact I had to learn to drive standard. Now that I've got it pretty much figured out I can't wait to hit some trails  Cheers |

Well JpGirl ... just get in there with your Jeep but have some knowledgeable offroaders with you .
We are heading into Lingham this w/e ( Madoc's Tim Horton's at 10 a.m. sat) ... usually an easy run but from what we heard COULD be tougher as someone MAY have dug out the trail with a skidder ... you might want to come along & see what it is like.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I'm lookin forward to meeting y'all... unfortunately I won't be able to make the Lingham run this weekend as I have to work, but I'm eager to hit the trails. However, I have minimal experience; I have always been the passenger waiting the day when I could afford my own rig. Finally that day has come. Now I just need someone/group patient enough to work with me lol

You have joined the right group then.
These guys have patience (well most of them any how), they will help you fix your rig if needed, winch you out when you get stuck (then laugh about it later) LOL, etc etc.....no matter how tough or easy the trail is you can always count on fun with us and a helpin hand if needed.

Very true, it's a great bunch. If you want a group or club, this has been the best I have found so far. And have even left a post on the old site for them. Have only been with this club for almost a year now, and have learned alot, had help when needed, and had a blast many of times. Even when I wasn't in my own rig. I think you'll like it here. Great bunch, Good bunch, great friends, and yes sometimes we're a little scary, but we know have to have fun, even if it's just going down the road to get to a trail.
