i need a pic of the under side of an XJ from the front facing the oil pan i'm trying to figure out if they have a engine crossmember i'm working on a bumper and this xj dont have one and it looks like it should this is were i'm talking about  |

Naw dude the only ting that's there is the factory skid plate....I'm sure those are the mounts for that...it bolts up under the rad and hase a triangle type mount design so it goes back to mount to those holes
And that's not cool takin a pic of under Wilson's kilt ;D

ok looks like your right also the outer holes i found are for the sway bar (which seems to be missing. i can't imagine why) but its weird that it doesn't have any sort of engine crossmember. oh well who am i to question the great genious engineers at jeep 'cause they've never done anything dumb before.........lol

....i almost bought a jeep once.... <shudder> They do lots of wrong- like costing 2500 a MONTH for insurance..... hence why i don't have a jeep.

I can insure both my jeeps for about $100 a month! LOL And my record isn't the best! LOL How many points you guys have against your license? I have been in for the interview twice, although have been a good boy for about 3 years now! LOL

It's the fact that they are all young people and the vehicle says JEEP on it that makes them both high risk and high insurance rates
I pay roughly 260 a month for all 4 vehicles(3 are Jeeps)AND the house insurance(with a higher rate cause I have a Wood Stove)
About the only benifets to being over 30 and married..lol...cheap insurance ;D

That wasn't an extra zero- they actually wanted 2500 a month. I think it was because I only had a G2, and was only 20. I'm fully licenced and 21 now, but i don't think it'd make much difference <lol>
Maybe when i'm all growed up & turn boring, i'll look into getting a jeep...but i think i'd rather get a truck.
