I seen this MOD on "JUST FOR JEEPS" web site can anybody tell me if this is a mod I should spend the $350.00-400.00 on? Will it even make a difference in the Horse power or is it just a flashy piece of junk that I got blinded by?...Do these cold air intakes even make a difference in a JEEP? Any thoughts would be great before I spend the Quid$$$.(3.8l model serial # 77060081)

IMHO is dont bother. Others will chime in. $400 will go a long way to get it lifted.

Cold air intake, with carbed, makes a difference! Cause you can adjust the carb accordingly! Everything is regulated in fuel injection! You can put more air there, but it compensates to "fix" the offset! If you put a performance chip in for the change, yeah you get a good jump fr the money! LMAO But then it's more money for the chip too! The computer is set up to run so much fuel for so much air! More air "would" make it burn hotter, but it's not meant to do that! So it compensates! Not worth the money unless chipping it too so it's adds to the fire! lmao
Chips and exhaust on computerized vehicles, sure they sound great, but without something saying "Hey, it's ok! We made a change, and it's good!" The computer thinks somethings wrong! Tries to fix the problem, or sets off alarms!
