Ah well, this is what happens when people take advantage comradery... it feels gratifying when somebody thanks you(like last night, when me and 89yjdude got a tire for a guy at 9 pm when he was stranded) if you can do it, and you know your helping somebody out its good...BUT when some random guy uses you for a tow, and gives nothing in return OR even worse, offers you something in return and doesnt supply, then its just gay

I don't get it these guy's offered you a case of beer for all that trouble & didn't make it the first thing on there priority list, that just tells me they prolly cant even spell priority, & should have stayed there, Now i'm pissed@#$@#%^@&@

Well I know damn well what thats like.
When ya pull a truck out at 7am and the guy leaves his other wheelin buddy behind and does not even say thanks or get dirty to help the guy he was wheelin with.
That day there were 2 guys from CFB Trenton up to there gonads in frozen water for many an hour trying trying to get there XJ out.
Them boys from CFB Trenton can wheel with me anytime if I was to see them again
Well the guy that left and never said thanks or even helped his buddies out knows who he is and was flamed on many a forum a few years ago.
He can stay home too.

Kelly OK THIS IS WHERE I STEP IN SICK OF THIS STORY GETTING TOTALLY RE-ARRAGED KELLY....LET ME TELL YOU THIS AND EVERYONE ELSE THAT WAS....GOTMUD....MY BROTHER N' LAW...AND AN ADMIN HERE...ONE OF THE ORIGINATORS OF THIS SITE The actual story goes like this Him and another guy where wheeling..just pissin around....Gotmud had an MJ(Commanche) at the time The guy in the XJ got stuck....Gotmud tried for hours to get him out...ended up getting stuck himself...so him and the other guy ended up leaving there Junk in the frozen water over night Couple guys that Gotmud and I knew tryed to yank him out....they where unsuccessful Finally they got someone they new with a winch to come out...and the only reason they got Gotmuds MJ out first was that it was easier that way... NOW...here is where the story gets fabricated for those that weren't there Gotmud and his father(PhantomDruid) where waiting there talking while the other guy was getting winched out...and they got a call that Gotmuds Grandmother (who had been very sick and who Gotmud was very close to) had just died....and so they needed to leave not only for Gotmud but for his mothers sake too...his mom was at the hospital by herself...and that's not cool....you wouldn't want your mother to be in a hospital dealing with her own mother death by herself would ya SO...they told the guys what happend...and then had to leave...now the guy with the XJ was pretty much out...it wasn't submerged anymore...and they where just winching the last 20 feet or so Some how or another the story got crossed up(don't know who started it but I know that it was Screwen who kept it goin).....Screwen kept saying shit like he was there...and Gotmud never really had a chance to defend himself...and a bunch of others ragged on him about his truck and stuff....that shit PISSES ME OFF SO HERE'S THE BOTTOM LINE Gotmud has always been there when the chips where down and I needed him.....others had fun at his and his dad's old place....He's building a rig now...hopefully he gets it done soon(lol).....I'll wheel with him anytime AND IF ANYONE ELSE WON'T WHEEL WITH HIM.....THAN I WON'T WHEEL WITH YOU.....PEOPLE SEEM TO WANA BELIEVE BULLSHIT OVER FACT....AND THAT PISSES ME OFF TO NO END IF YOU DON'T WANA WHEEL WITH SOMEONE CAUSE YOU'D RATHER BELIEVE BULLSHIT......THAN FUCKOFF I DON'T NEED YOUR KIND AROUND ME...LIFES TO SHORT FOR STUPID PEOPLE |

Not to argue Lowrad... But I was the one with LWBZook that was there to pull out the comanche... No one else was around when Ron and I pulled it out and yes it was the easiest one... As for the other guy... He was still up to his gonads in freezing cold water for about another 1 and a half hours after the other guy left.
We never learned about any family issue until a few days later when the post got out of hand. He never said a damn thing to anyone but just picked up and left.
I was there.
I know what happened.
I did not mention any names cause I knew damn well this would happen so sorry if I pissed you of... I do apologize.
Facts are facts and I was there that day freezin my ass of as well. Got up and didn't even have a coffee in us at 7am and off we went with the 460 powered F-150 from Deseronto and gone to help out.
We never even got a "Thanks" for pullin the 'Manche out.
I started that post as well those years back.
I never wanted to push buttons and thats why no names were mentioned.

Okay, wow, this ones getting out of hand as well! I didn't know it was Gotmud that it's about! I know from experience with him that he's a pretty fair guy! He's the one that got the 4x4 working in my YJ, and I have been out with him on several occasions! I can't say much 'cause I wasn't there that day, but in defense, I know that he is fair and a great guy to wheel with! And to be quite honest, a good friend as well. So at this point on, I am out of this convo! Don't want anything to do with it since if it goes much farther, things could get ugly and people are going to get pissed!
I suggest that to keep harmony, and keep from pissing people off, we all agree that stories, fact or not, get fabbed over time, and people get their own ideas of what happened, and it just starts chaos! So, what would I like to see? Simple! Story dropped! No more controversy, no more arguments!
Kelly, I am not saying anything against you, so don't get me wrong there! I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet, hopefully I can in the near future! Have heard you're a pretty good guy to wheel with! But for arguments sake, let's just drop it and be the club we all know and love being a part of!

I want in on this one ... I wasn't there. I don't really know anything about it but boy this sounds like fun ... everyone getting defensive & pissed off.
Matty stay out of it ... get a beer, sit back & read the entries as they come.
Let's bet on who wins. We'll do it off line so that no one knows. Put some beer on it.
Like every story & a woman's body ... 2 sides ( & useful I might add) ... so both may be right but who cares as long as there is carnage here.
Just think of the eveil glances on a mutual trail ride ... sweeeet.
At least it takes some of the attention off the Toyota vs Jeep stuff.
I think Hummerman should get involved too as he wasn't there but has a way with words of pissing everyone off including himself.
I just don't want to see MX Girl or Pickupgirl getting involved ... well ...maybe if they were together mudwrestling.
Just me 2 cents ( 1950 era when you could buy lots of candy with it)

ok here we go again i did say something to dave i told him what was goin on and i had to leave and the other guy did have his front tires already up on the ground when i left maybe you thought i was already gone at that piont i don't know my truck was out at the road and i had walked back up to dave's truck and thats when i told him i did aploagie and did say thanx to everyone that helped and the only reason i got stuck was trying to pull him out myself and when he had got stuck a couple of days befor i was the first persone to post that i would try and help him but he had allready got someone to help him like i said befor in other posts i didn't go around to everyone to thanx theam maybe i sould have but if certin stuff didn't happin in the family (wich is more inportint ) i would have stuck around and said thanx to everyone there not the next day in a post like i did
