Hi Everyone - Im new here and just wanted to start by saying a quick hi!
I have a 98 4Runner. It is bone stock at the moment but I have things planned for this summer once my other toy sells (99 GSXR750) starting with brake upgrades, MTs and a 2" front and 2.5" rear lift - then I may look into a small body lift too
My trail experience includes pretty much 99% being on 2 wheels - not 4 so this is a new thing for me. I haven't found many good trails yet in my neck of the woods suitable for a beginner (west of toronto) so I wanted to branch out
thanks,

Welcome to the site. Good to see more from out of the close area. As for not much experience on 4 wheels, we have had beginners, and are still getting more. That's what this club is about. People of all experiences, makes, models of vehicles, yes including Toyotas Bushy, and best yet, we're all out to have fun while helping those to gain skills at what we love most. No Bad, not talking about precious or landing strips! LOL
Anyways, welcome aboard and hope to see you on the trails!

Rookie ... welcome ... I guess we will have something in common ... Yotas ... I am usually the lone wolf among the caribou.
Prior to doing a trail run ... I suggest you get some back lashing ( S&M) to toughen up as the Jeep guys will try to give you a hard time. Walking on hot coals, thrusting your hands into sand & boiling oil water, pulling your own teeth, being a goalie with no cup will prep you...I'll front for you ... they tend to tolerate me now.
Never out do the Jeep guys ...they get really "urinated". I just get stuck & they have a good laugh. Humouring them is the best way to get along with them. Watch out for Lowrad ( suckled on a Jeep windshield washer, BadThumper ( he was conceived in the back seat of a CJ5), WranglerBoy ( his Jeeps have never been stuck in the Mall) & finally Stinger ( thinks Jeeps were designed by a higher intelligent beings from Planet XJ). Don't worry about the BrownBros ... they are on our side & are working at demolishing Jeeps under the cover of "driving them hard".

Thanks Guys - I will do my best to hold my own and have been known to dish right back when the time is right I must say im not totally against the jeeps - my soon to be faja in law drives a 99 TJ Sahara. I have been know to leave my truck at home, park the bike on the stands and then take the TJ to the land of bikinis Bushwacker - do you have more than 1 yota? Its hard to tell from your signature

Thinking of how to turn the XJ into a Yota ... mindboggling ... like turning Ugly Betty into Jenna Jameison.
All for fun ... ( my comments ... meant to entertain)
... anything you wheel is great ... as long as you have fun. A motorized unicycle with 3 trainer wheels & a fishing pole winch ... all good ... but the Jeeps guys will remind you ... "Not a Jeep" and you'll say to yourself in a satisfied way ... Ya.

^^^Gota wonder how disease free she'd be if everyone thought like you ;D ;)lol Like Bushy said...wheel everything...it's all good...But Bushy...a motorized unicycle with 3 training wheels....are you thinking of a replacement for BushWacker already(I mean you've replaced WeedWacker with a XJ )I've already told you...I'll lead this year so WE can take it easy on the BushWacker this year (we'll use Waggy as the test dumby this year ;D)

OK ... this is not fair ... How can I reply to Lowrad when Lowrad changes my responses through Admin privileges? He has done this before.
This is not fair ... Lowrad ... fight like a man rather than a computer geek.
I understand that Waggy is an oversized K car ... but don't stoop so low ( ooowww LOWrad) to try to minimally diminish Bushy & Bushwacker ... just revel in our shadow.
