Im planning on doing halftons at some point, I just hate knowing that the D35 is still skulking out from under the arse of my truck. For what its worth to cut'n'burn perches, Im still ahead in the 'not weak as shit' dept.

OK well heres my .02 cents Learn to drive lol Stinger's had a D35(with locker and its c-clip) for over 100K of daily driving/wheeling on 33-35's for all of it
All these guys that say stuff it weak as shit...seriously need to learn to drive....learn to let off when you have to
Bart(Ken) has a D35 with 4:56 gears and locked running 33's CrazyFrenchMan(Jano) has a D35 with 4:56 gears and running those monster 35x15.5 TSL....hasn't broken that since he got it over a year ago
I only ever broke my D35 cause I was being a IDIOT at the MALL with the 37's I was running.....Mashing skinny pedal doing smokey burnout pulling out of mall on 37's....WTF was I thinking
My .02 cents and as for tires if anyone else has been listening to anything else that ME or Bushy BAD Stinger Jano Ken or anyone else has to say.....for just about ANYTHING your ever gonna do with your rig in around thes parts(southern Ontario)...ya only need 33's and a locker.....so don't waste you money...spend it wisely.....shorter the lift....to get 33's on it(as sawzall is your friend...lol)...regear to 410(more readly available) and slap a locker of some sort in there(hell the mini spool is workin just great for me...lol
There....theres 5cents No change back ;D

Dink hahah.
You make very valid points there Lowrad.
I want to Longarm it eventually with 33" swampers. Im more inclined to dual-tire the rig and keep a set of 31's for street because this is a dual-duty truck

Observation .... Suzuki owners upgrade their axles when they go to lockers & bigger tires ... usually getting Toyota axles Toyota owners never do even when they go to bigger tires or axles, whether pickups, 4Runners or Cruisers ... hmmm Jeeps owners are always upgrading to stronger axles, even if it is a Rubi ... Well I guess it's a Jeep thing. I DO understand. How to put 31's on a Jeep ... do a complete suspension lift ~ 4" How to put 31's on a Toyota ... just put them on How to put 33's on a Jeep ... do an even bigger complete suspension lift ..6+? & lots of trimming" How to put 33's on a Toyota ... just put them on & trim a bit at the front ... tighten the torsion bar or add a slight lift - small spacer as Larry did & rear shackles Well I guess it's a Jeep thing. I DO understand. Happy Hallowe'en anyway peoples

Um Bushy...hate to inform you ya almighty king thinker of Yota but even Yota guys will tell you you need to upgrade your Birfs(seems to me you already did that...about the same as upgrading your axles...hmmm)...and if your running anything more than 35's with your motor...your fine.....you add a small block chevy or something...say by to the stock axles(if your running rocks)..... Zuki guys put Yota axles under them for a couple reasons...they would put fullsize cheby axles(same drop) but that would just be funny....Yota axles from 4Runners are no way fullsize....and they can run bigger tires than Yota can on them cause they(zuki's)don't weight shit...lol....and have all the power of a chipmunk on acid As for stuffing 33's under a stock Runner/Yota...yep I agree...you can do that...but you can only do that cause a stock Yota flexs like a 4x4 piece of OAK ;D
Jeeps = Flexy and Sexy Yota's = (I got nothing...insert what you will here..lol)

Blah, Blah, Blah ! & the world is flat? I have a broom handle here for any D35 that breaks & needs a replacement. 4Runner axles don't need to be fullsize because they are made with real steel ... not recycled rusty BBQ iron grate steel.
My chrome moly was to add "inner" bling ... like hmm your tats ...

Would it make you happy if I wanted to stuff the Cruizer rear end into the truck? Phil's got one hanging out in his pile of fun stuff.

LMFAO! I wouldn't change anything i had some of those axles & they worked fine as long as you let off the pedal when all fours leave the ground, & comanche prolly weights a little less than xjs, also d35 are prolly as easy to find spares as pieces of corn in Low's undies....
